How Mini Dental Implants Work?

A mini dental implant (or MDI), is made up of titanium, and is roughly about the size of a toothpick. It can be inserted into jawbone easily without the need of bone grafting. Mini dental implants are widely used to anchor dentures strongly and to place individual or multiple messing teeth. In some cases where the patient doesn’t have enough bone mass for a complete implant, the patient can still be able to enjoy the benefits of implants via minis.

The procedure takes around less than 2 hours to place the implant and attach new dentures. It is painless with minimal discomfort after the procedure. Most often, anesthetic (usually an injection) is needed over the area in the gums where the implants are to be placed.

Mini dental implants let you eat and speak immediately after the procedure. They are able to support you dentures immediately after placed by Dr Josh Brower. This means that patients can walk out of the office with new teeth and begin eating their favorite foods anytime.

Dr.Josh Brower has an extensive experience, knowledge and training in placing mini dental implants. He has successfully placed numerous medium-sized and mini dental implants over the past many years.
